“The Current Approach to Eradicating Systemic Racism is NOT WORKING”

Post-race banner waving; ineffective Diversity Programs; drive-by diversity; legal shielding; reliance on the Diversity Program Director to be the organization’s diversity; placing marginalized folks into equity positions unsupported; failing to incorporate DEI into the fabric of the organization. For all these reasons and more, the current approach to eradicating systemic racism is NOT WORKING!

The Racial Equity Association systemic racism eradication engagement methodology consists of a programmatic, data-driven, multi-faceted approach grounded in a baseline assessment. This baseline assessment leverages a framework that was created from the work informing Vermont’s Act, 9 (2018, special), the enabling statute for the Vermont Racial Equity Executive Director and Panel. Our work in program evaluation, implementation and management sets us apart in the area of Racial Equity and clearly establish us as a leader. The need for data management (aggregation, correlation and presentation) and data dashboards can not be overstated in the work of eradicating systemic racism. Our approach in this area is based upon the successful implementation Racial Justice Alliance Race Traffic Stop Dashboard.
